Ken faces the truth that his marriage to Pauline is over and decides to sell the family home and go on an internet date. Following the date, Ken realises with urgency what he must do to try and win Pauline back. Pauline is having some some reservations about the choices she’s made about Peter and Ken. Kevin offers Pauline and Ken a weekend away in the hotel that they spent their honeymoon in, and Ken waits to see whether Pauline will join him at the train station. Sarah decides to accept Kevin despite all his flaws.

At Whipsnade, Jo Dodds is training Nicky, an adult male chimpanzee, ahead of a major medical operation. Head of birds Adrian Walls meets eight new Humboldt penguins.
