Hosted by Nick Lachey, “The Winner Is …” infuses the performance of a singing competition series and the strategy of a game show. Each episode features six acts that go head to head each week and sing for a shot at a $1 million grand prize. The aim of the game is simple: Contestants must believe in their own performance, edge out their competition and avoid cash temptations to move forward. The series, produced by Talpa Media USA Inc. and Universal Television, is executive-produced by Stijn Bakkers and Craig Plestis.
‘The Winner Is’ infuses the performance of a singing competition show and the strategy of a game show into one thrilling series. Everyday people of all ages and vocal styles have the opportunity to turn their singing abilities into cold hard cash. Six acts go head to head in front of a panel of 101 music experts who determine the winning performance. Before the results are revealed, the contestants have the chance to negotiate and decide whether to take the cash or stay in the game. The winner of each episode earns a spot in the Million Dollar Season Finale where the payouts increase and someone wins one million dollars! Nick Lachey (‘Stars Earn Stripes, ‘The Sing Off’) hosts.

A death-defying individual date with Kasey goes awry, morphing from a fantasy into a nightmare. Roping and riding take center stage as the stunt coordinator for Disney’s “The Lone Ranger” shows some of the guys the ins and outs of being a cowboy. However, it is Chris Harrison’s surprise call to Desiree that starts a wild chain reaction: It’s revealed that one deceptive man not only has ulterior motives for being there, but has a girl friend to boot! Desiree’s firestorm of emotion makes her question all the remaining men. Is her Cinderella story about to crash and burn?

In this fun, high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition featuring new obstacles and bridges, water rounds, mechanical rounds and slick zones, 12 thrill-seeking daredevils race head-to-head through five physically demanding, chair-splitting obstacle course-style eliminations as they each compete to claim a chair – all to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, only one contestant will be left sitting triumphant to seize the cash prize and the title of OH SIT! champion. The show is hosted by Jamie Kennedy (“The Ghost Whisperer”) and actress/television host Jessi Cruickshank (“MTV Live”). Adding to the fun, Tanika Ray (“Extra”) will be in the trenches with the contestants both on and off the track, and will add color commentary from the sidelines as the action unfolds. Asher Monroe (“Here with You”) is the musical guest. The episode was directed by Glenn Weiss (#118).
