Miss Marple is far from St Mary Mead as she spends a holiday in a lavish hotel on the tropical island of St. Honore. The resort ends up being far from the heavenly retreat it first looks, after fellow guest Major Palgrave dies shortly after arriving, having spent an evening enjoying exotic food and a specially arranged “Voodoo show”. Miss Marple is not convinced that he died from a heart attack, and recruits business tycoon, Jason Rafiel, to be her sidekick and uncover the truth.
