在3×01《Dude Ranch》里，Pritchett-Dunphy一家人来到度假胜地Jackson Hole体验「牛仔生活」。Phil打算向牛仔Jay表现出「男子汉气概」，而Mitchell也想找到一点「男子汉气概」。
Mitchell和Cameron正式决定收养第二个孩子，这次是个男孩。Mitchell认为教育男孩就要有男人的样子。哈，事实上是想把这个男孩教育成Claire那种「男人婆」的模样。
Phil花了点力气才让Dylan能参加家庭度假。
