接下来会发生什么
The season will kick off with Leslie & Co. heading to London so she can accept an award. In Pawnee, Ron deals with Diane’s pregnancy, Tom fights against someone trying to put him out of business, April decides whether to go to veterinary school, and Donna finally gets a chance in the spotlight. Leslie’s recall won’t upset her nearly as much as her best friend Ann and Chris deciding to leave Pawnee — news that will cause her to take out her frustrations on everyone in her vicinity. The sixth season will also feature the show’s 100th episode, as well as a wedding. But who’s getting married?
Even though the PRex EP tells us it’s true that Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones will be leaving the show, there are a ton of guest stars is headed to Pawnee to make up for it! Kicking off the season six premiere in London, we’ll see supermodel Heidi Klum playing an overly beloved mayor of a small town in Denmark. Kristen Bell will come on as Leslie’s newest Eagletown rival, Henry Winkler is set to play Jean-Ralphio’s father, while Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany will be a love interest for Tom.
The townsfolk will get their recall opportunity — and soon! “The vote happens right around Halloween,” executive producer Mike Schur shares. “By that point, Leslie’s already been made aware of the fact that Ann and Chris may be leaving” — details here — “so this first chunk of episodes is really about [Leslie] emotionally dealing with [that].” Ron, meanwhile, will be embracing impending fatherhood. “We’re not going to tell any stories where he is super freaked-out about being a dad,” the Parks boss notes. Instead, there’s an episode where “Ron realizes that he needs to make a last will and testament, because he has a family now.” Tom — who’ll find himself romancing Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany — will be in a “battle for his life” when it comes to his mysterious Swag competitor. (“The person who is behind the new store will make sense to the people who’ve been watching the show,” Schur hints.)
Parks will airs its landmark 100th episode with an installment co-written by Schur and series star Amy Poehler. “We didn’t want to be super meta about it,” the EP laughs. “We just wanted it to feel like all of our characters had reached a milestone in their lives, so that was the idea of the story going in. It’s a really good story with a lot of juicy stuff in it.”
